Dear Parents,
"It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas". Christmas trees, decorations, lights, stores crowded with shoppers; Christmas is in the air! To many in our world Christmas is gifts and parties, but to the Christian it is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
It was a glorious day when Jesus was born. The angles sang, the shepherds were filled with exceeding joy and the wise men worshipped the baby in the manger. The Christmas story in Matthew 1:18-2:12 and Luke 2:1-20 is still real today. Take a moment to reflect over the past and especially this year to that special 'miracle moment'. In spite of the complexities of our daily life miracles still occur today.
God bringing you and me here together at Covenant Christian
School is one of those miracles.
My prayer is that this Christmas we will have a fresh perspective of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray that we will rejoice with great joy; that we will give Him the gift He deserves and we will share His love with all those we come in contact with!
From all the teachers and staff, we wish you a very Merry Christmas!
Larry Ahl,
Principal
