Andrea Coulson

K-8 Spanish Teacher

Mrs. Coulson comes to us with extensive experience, including 16 years classroom management and 20 years tutoring/teaching experience. Mrs. Coulson was born in Argentina and is a native Spanish speaker. She is
passionate about teaching Spanish. She has taught elementary, middle school and high school students. Her professional experience includes teaching positions at Holy Family Cathedral Catholic School, Lycee of Los
Angeles, Orange Lutheran High School. She has taught Summer Spanish Programs, as well as after-school programs, for Irvine Unified School District.

Mrs. Coulson obtained a BA Degree from Instituto Lenguas Vivas in Argentina. She attended Cal State Long Beach where she obtained her CBEST Teaching Certification and CSET Spanish Certification. Beyond her education and teaching career, she loves to travel around the world, read, and watch movies. Mrs. Coulson and her husband have a son, Zachary, who is a software engineer. She has two cats and a dog. They are her “furry children!”
