Students in grades first through fifth, visit the library once a week. Classroom teachers also utilize the library as needed. The purpose of going to library is to spark a love for reading. We work with families and classroom teachers to provide the resources needed to meet student literacy and fluency goals, especially the books needed for our Accelerated Reader program. Elementary students explore literary concepts such as characterization, plot, setting, and prediction. The library is also available for research for upper elementary and middle school.
